Emel Ernalbant portrait and food photographer, she based in London, working globally for international publications and clients.
She was born and grown up in Istanbul, studied Radio and Television Programming and worked for Turkish Vogue, GQ, Conde Nast Traveller, Travel+Leisure, TimeOut Istanbul and many others.
After the Syrian war, she moved to the Syrian border of Turkey and run a darkroom project. The district Mardin's most vulnerable to refugees and impoverished families who are mostly pushed out by established communities.
She lived in Mardin for five years and moved to London. She is a food and portrait photographer of Made in Hackney. Nowadays focused on vegan food photography and working on her vegan cookbook.
